1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using COD Boss, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must uninstall the App immediately.

2. Description of Service

COD Boss is a Shopify application that enables merchants to:

• Create and customize Cash on Delivery order forms for their storefront
• Configure upsell, downsell, and quantity discount offers
• Create product bundles with custom pricing
• Track abandoned forms and send automated recovery emails
• Monitor analytics including conversion funnels, revenue, and form performance
• Implement fraud prevention rules (IP blocking, rate limiting, geographic restrictions)
• Integrate tracking pixels for advertising platforms (Facebook, TikTok, Google, Pinterest, Snapchat)
• Send SMS notifications and OTP verification

The App creates draft orders in your Shopify store on behalf of your customers. Order fulfillment, shipping, and customer service remain your responsibility.

3. Merchant Responsibilities

As a merchant using COD Boss, you agree to:

• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction, including consumer protection and data privacy laws
• Ensure your use of the App complies with Shopify’s Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy
• Obtain any necessary consents from your customers before collecting their personal data through COD forms
• Provide accurate information when configuring the App
• Not use the App for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
• Maintain the security of your Shopify account credentials

4. Billing and Payments

COD Boss offers the following subscription plans, billed through Shopify’s secure billing system:

• Forever Free: $0/month, up to 60 orders per month
• Premium: $9.99/month or $89.99/year, up to 500 orders per month
• Enterprise: $24.99/month or $224.99/year, up to 5,000 orders per month
• Unlimited: $49.99/month or $449.99/year, unlimited orders

Additional usage-based charges may apply:

• SMS messages are billed per message based on the destination country
• Order overage beyond your plan limit may incur additional charges on paid plans

All charges are processed by Shopify and appear on your Shopify invoice. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time. Plan changes take effect according to Shopify’s billing cycle policies.

5. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the App, including its code, design, features, documentation, and branding, are owned by COD Boss. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your Shopify store while your subscription is active.

You retain ownership of your store data, product information, and customer data. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process this data solely to provide the App’s services.

6. Data and Privacy

Our collection, use, and protection of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you acknowledge and agree to the data practices described therein.

We comply with Shopify’s mandatory data protection requirements, including responding to customer data requests, customer data deletion requests, and shop data erasure upon app uninstallation.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation of the App
• We are not liable for any lost revenue, lost profits, lost data, or indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App
• Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim

You are solely responsible for the orders placed through COD forms on your store, including fulfillment, returns, and customer disputes.

8. Termination

You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify store. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if:

• You violate these Terms or Shopify’s Terms of Service
• Your use of the App poses a security risk or may cause harm to other users
• Required by law or Shopify platform policies

Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Shopify’s data protection requirements.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where we operate, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if necessary, through binding arbitration.
